		<description>I have tried pulasan!  I like the flavor of it a bit better than rambutan, but the texture is not as nice.  It is almost never for sale here in Kuching.  I did find some wild pulasan on sale in Mukah, Sarawak.  The story is here:

When I was in Malaysia and first encountered the rambutan fruit, I was in a total state of disarry. I had no idea where to start! ^_^

Was I suppose to the eat the outside - that didn&#039;t seem right. So where was the fruit. Thats when my malay friend starting laughing and taking the rambutan said..Senang laa..:-)

I have preferred the method of biting the center with my two front teeth and then &#039;peeling&#039; off the other half. Masyaallah.
