		<description>Could be - I&#039;ve been referring mostly to wikipedia for species descriptions, but I don&#039;t know how authoritative that is really.  They have asam kumbang as M. quadrifida, but rare and without a botanical description. My wife thought it might be the same as Binjai at first, but Shaykh Google disagrees :-)</description>

		<description>Salam. If I&#039;m not mistaken, this Bambangan (my mother in-law calls it Asam Mbang) is the same fruit as asam kumbang from West Malaysia. There is a place in Taiping named after this fruit - Asam Kumbang.</description>

		<description>And there is also bacang. I always thought bacang and macang are the same until one day at a Pondok in Kelantan I was served both of them together. Apparently one is smaller than the other. I dont like the taste of both of them.</description>
