Wandering into the Hills mall to get haircuts for my five girls, I stumbled upon the last day of the 10th Sarawak Bonsai Competition!  I only had my handphone in my pocket so the images don’t begin to do justice to the subjects.  But here they are:

  1. Every tree seems to have their own story. Looking at these photos makes me excited & wanting to grow my own, & I really like the slanting style. How is it going for u sir?

  2. My own are still in early development. I have them in large pots to increase thickness of the base and the primary branches. After a few more cycles of growing out and cutting back, I may be able to start working on styling some of the trees. I’ve benefited a lot from following the International Bonsai Club’s forum.
